Prayer for Strength to Forgive a Deep Betrayal

Lord, the offense committed against me was unjust, and every memory stirs resentment. But I see that holding onto this anger is only poisoning my own life. Because You have forgiven my mountain of sin, I choose to forgive this person's debt today. I release them into Your hands. Relieve my soul of this bitterness and heal my wounded heart. Amen.
