Prayer When Faced with Rejection and Closed Doors

Lord, it hurts to receive another 'no' or watch an opportunity slip away. I feel like my efforts are going nowhere. But I choose to remember that You are the God who opens doors that no man can shut, and closes doors to protect me from harm. Keep my heart from despair. Give me patience to wait for Your better timing, and strengthen my faith that You are preparing a path for me. Amen.
