Prayer When You're Struggling to Hold onto Hope

God of all hope, when disappointment stacks on top of disappointment, it is tempting to protect the heart by expecting the worst. But Your Word calls hope an anchor of the soul. Today, I tether my weary soul back to Your cross and empty tomb. Remind me that weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning. Give me a glimmer of Your light today. Amen.
