Prayer for a Quiet Spirit to Hear God's Direction

Lord, there are so many loud voices — social opinions, family expectations, and my own noisy thoughts. Help me tune out the clamor and tune my ear to Your gentle whisper. Like Samuel, my heart says: 'Speak, LORD; for thy servant heareth.' Let Your Word be a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path today. Amen.
