📖 1 Peter 5:7 - Give Your Worries to God

1 Peter 5:7 gives us a simple but powerful invitation: we do not have to carry every worry by ourselves. Peter tells believers to cast all their care upon God. That includes the concerns we think are too small, the problems that seem impossible, and the burdens we have been carrying for a long time.
God is teaching us that trusting Him means more than believing He exists. It means deliberately placing our concerns into His hands instead of allowing fear to control our hearts. We can bring our family concerns, financial pressures, uncertain future, difficult relationships, personal struggles, and unanswered questions to Him in prayer.
The reason we can release our worries is found in the second part of the verse: “for he careth for you.” God is not distant or indifferent toward His children. He cares about what we are facing and invites us to depend upon Him.
Today, practice this verse by naming your worries before God in prayer. Instead of repeatedly carrying the same fear in your mind, give it to Him and choose to trust His wisdom. You may not see an immediate change in your circumstances, but you can begin to experience a change in your heart as you rest in God's care.
